You Know What I Mean? 2024
'You Know What I Mean?' is a book that archives my own sleep talk recordings, recorded from 2020 to 2024. The project explores the idea of sleep talk being a collection and documentation of dreams, a word-by-word transcript of the creativity of the night. 'You Know What I Mean?' explores the language of sleep talk, and brings to light the narratives that would be lost, if not for recording during the night. It combines the playful use of Comic Sans with a strict formal grid structure, reminding us of the ways we learn languages.
Patterns of Polynkina Poster, 2023
This is the poster for ‘Patterns of Polynkina’, an imagined institute that exhibits the gardens of the residents who live on Polynkina Street, Sokolivka, Ukraine. Once a year the gardens become open to the public and the different patterns and systems of flowers and vegetables can be viewed. To immortalise these annual exhibitions, the gardens are photographed from above, pixelated and turned into embroidery patterns, which are then turned into abstract rushnyky (Ukrainian embroidered cloths). Different gardens and constellations of plants generate varying patterns for the rushnyky, showing the diversity of each garden. Once they are made, they are displayed all year long along the street itself. As the institution grows older, more and more rushnyky are generated and displayed on the washing line that runs through the street.',
Wordle Book, 2023
An iPhone sized book printed during at the end of my internship at Colorama, Berlin. The book is a collection of the pixel grids sent after completing a wordle, alongside illustrations interpreting the pixel grids. The booklet is riso printed and glue bound using green dyed glue.

The design of this reader is a collaboration with Hilkka Hissa. The reader is a collection of essays exploring alternative or lesser-researched typographic histories. Complete with a letterpress printed semi-transparent dust jacket.
Interdependent Identities, Poster Series, 2023
The process of losing your native language (language attrition) can be prevented by cutting out any other languages. How is it possible to choose which part of your identity to cut out? As a result of immigration and globalisation, our world is becoming an ever-growing mishmash of identities — we are moulded to create new identities. These identities bring new ways to express ourselves, manifesting through language. One of the results of this is code-switching, a linguistic phenomenon, where people switch languages between sentences, words or within a word. Mixing languages enables the speaker to express nuanced meanings and identities. In this poster series, I make use of my English-German-Ukrainian mixed family conversations. Not one language is whole, they are incomplete without each other. The use of mixed materials emphasises the attempt to manifest a new identity, reminiscent of a time when we learned how to write. The work visualises my research on the reasons why linguistic switches are made within conversations, such as attitude, secrecy, efficiency or the environment.
Riso Animation Generator, 2025
Using p5.js, I created a stop motion animation generator, where the user can switch between riso colours and alter the layers. You can then press the export button to download 36 frames, already seperated and ready for printing.
(The Visual Rhythms of) Behind the State Capitol, 2022
A 240 page, hand-bound book of the poetry from “Behind the State Capitol, or Cincinnati Pike” by John Wieners. Featuring 24 laser-cut pages based on Wiener’s illustrations and collages. Wiener’s poetry was published by Good Gay Poets (a queer collective), whose office was firebombed in 1982. As a result, many copies of “Behind the State Capitol, or Cincinnati Pike” were destroyed, and it has never been reproduced. Therefore, it is hard to find a copy of this book. The challenge was to reproduce Wiener’s book of poems, using the only PDF available online — a blurry, sometimes unreadable collection of photos of the book. In my reproduction of the book, I aim to lift Wiener’s poetry beyond the limits of the alphabet and transcend the boundaries of our senses.
Weather Gardens Poster, 2023
Made in Collaboration with Julie Werenskjold Sørensen, for the identity of our Interactive Media Class's concert. 'Weather Gardens' investigates the act of listening as a design practice to deepen our understanding of accelerated ecology and human geographies. Listening to weather, landscapes and digitalscapes allows for design that steps away from being fixed, and into an active mode.
